Sanctuary Artists
Hello everyone ! Today I would like to share with you what the "Sanctuary artists" is for me … Le Palais de Tokyo isn't a museum, the palace is recognized as "the pioneer of a movement of reconciliation between the City of Light and contemporary art". Anti-museum, this place is perfect to find inspiration and ideas.

There is a lot of expositions, all different to each others. For example, the currently exposition is "The inside" which is just amazing. I don't really want to spoil so I will let you go by yourself or just take a look on the website : http://palaisdetokyo.com/en

However, there is a part in Palais de Tokyo which almost nobody knows about … The emergency exit. Hopefully, you will never have to use it and I didn't either don't worry ! 3 years ago, I went to Le Palais de Tokyo for the first time with my amazing teacher of the moment and the guide let us going to the emergency exit which is my favorite part ! I literally fell in love with this place. It's not open to visitors except with a cultural mediator but you can just sneak in as I do every time I go to Le Palais. I will give you a little foretaste from Le palais de tokyo's website :
"In responding to the invitation from Palais de Tokyo, Lek and Sowat expressed an interest in the entrails of Palais: the secondary spaces not intended to accommodate exhibitions that are normally closed to the public. Their peripheral architecture is minimalist, and bears the marks of time (the nooks and crannies are dusty and covered with spider’s webs, the paint has turned yellow, the walls are in poor repair). For this intervention, Lek and Sowat are bringing together artists from different generations and fields of practice. Every artist contributes his/her skill, line, gestures, history, to a collective work in which egos and styles overlap, clash, and cohabit in a diaphanous, clandestine composition, using spray paint, paintbrush, pencil, chalk, and other salvaged materials that fall into their hands."

It's also a perfect place to take fashionable pictures or just artsy :

It has been 3 years that I'm going to Palais de Tokyo and there, I had never been stuck on an idea. This place is just the sanctuary artists and I hope one day, I will expose there and inspire people too.
